Mark Cooper

Director, Smart City Advice

Mark is a past President of the ILP. He is a STEM ambassador and involved in creating an industry wide scheme to allow volunteers to teach lighting related STEM activities within schools, in order to raise the awareness of engineers and the lighting profession.

He has over 25 years of experience within the lighting industry, working in a number of roles from Local Authority lighting engineer, through sales and product management and as a divisional director for Jacobs. Until April 2016 Mark was the national sales manager for iGuzzini.

Mark recently started his own consultancy business specialising in advice for local government and manufactures in the emerging market of smart cities and IoT
