Sutton Vane Associates

In 1995 Mark started Sutton Vane Associates. This independent lighting design practice works in all fields of lighting design and consultancy.

Sutton Vane Associates has designed lighting for many urban projects including Sheaf Square in Sheffield, West Bromwich Town Square and many other spaces. The lighting of Portsmouth was the largest exterior lighting project in the UK. Sutton Vane Associates designed the lighting for the Park and Public Realm areas of the London 2012 Olympic Park and has written lighting strategies for many cities including Liverpool and parts of London.

Mark Sutton Vane has worked on photovoltaic based lighting system for public spaces. The practice has designed alternative energy
